Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. In Australia, she became well-known for the character Pepper Steiger that she played on the soap opera Neighbors for a period of 100 episodes from 2006 to 2007. The actress arrived in Hollywood through two separate projects. The first was the comedy choral Hollywood & Wine in which she played a young actress who was a newcomer to Hollywood. Then by landing a recurring role in the ninth season of Scrubs which portrayed Maya a very sexy medical student. The series was suddenly halted. After that, she continued filming the Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot, which starred Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Then she played in B-series film and short series. The year 2013 brought more exposure: She appeared on seven episodes on Franklin and Bash and landed her first ever regular part on the show, Chosen. Milo Ventimiglia played the lead. The show also features her as Chad Michael Murray's response in the series' first and second seasons. In the following seasons, she was in supporting roles in two feature films that focused on planes. One was a TV film made for SyFy's flight 7500, featuring the actors of television series. Another film can be seen in Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. She is a pilot. She shares the poster of a new TV series called Matador along together with Gabriel Luna. The 13-episode season is all that exists of the thriller by Robert Rodriguez in which actors are CIA agents. The actress continues with the pilot episode of an additional television show. In 2015 she therefore revealed the promo for a B-series romance Borrowed Moments with Brian Krause later, she appeared in the humorous Witness for Rent worn by Kevin Hart Josh Gad and Kaley Cuoco. Also, she appears in the massive release of Terrence Malcolmick's experiment Knight of Cups. Also, she appears in five of the Satisfaction episodes.
