Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine and Scottish English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. After being within Buenos Aires for six years and then moving to Victoria. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she didn't take the time to learn English in hopes of going back to Argentina. She had to switch schools between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and participated in the drama department. At the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
